Hello! Just to add a quick note to this post on how our servers work. I have access to a variety of Mac OS's (7, 8, 9, 10 and 11) and Win 7 or 8 I don't have an Android or a Win 10 system to try so someone else should have a go at that. If anyone wants me to test anything else, let me know - but as far as I can tell it all works as advertised. I am running the Mac 10.9 test as a seperate set of tests, I'll post below if there is anything different in the results from adding a Mac as a host/client in the mix. ![]() Ethernet wire was not plugged into the laptop. Notes: Laptop had both wireless and ethernet ports available, but I only used the wireless option for the laptop's connection. Played 2 turns, quit iPad.ĭisabled university wireless network and connected via cellular, resumed game and played 2 turns. Launched iPad connected via wireless (different subnet from host), Resumed game showed up in region list (!) as an available game to connect to (This is new - I've never seen a private game show up listed before). Launched game and "Resumed" as host from this new computer (not original laptop). Installed Steam and Talisman on a lab computer (Win 7-64 bit, Ethernet). Without a host, "Resumed" the iPad connection - game loaded correctly (couildn't play because host wasn't connected or "Ready") Re-connected host, and iPad and played another 2 turns. Disconnected the iPad and Host computers. ![]() Joined the hosted game (had to manually type in a known private table name - no selection list was available). Launched iPad Talisman and connected to the USA reigon via same wireless subnet. On a home network, setup a windows laptop via wireless as a host for a private game in the USA region. Hosted on Windows 7-64bit systems (dee below) I've never tried a public game so I can only speak to private games. Also: contrary to what I have seen posted I have not had any problems with MP or cross-platform games and we (my family and friends) enjoy playing Talisman quite frequently. I have purchased 7 copies of the base game, a season pass for one of my base games and purchased all of the DLC seperately for a second (So that at least 2 people have access to all of the characters - which is not an option if only 1 player has the Season Pass). Yes there are problems - but they are smartly addressed and don't seem to be game-breaking. I have been surprised by the posts in these forums for contrary to the angry members I am delighted with the development releases (I think they've been fairly steady and consistant - if not on any predictable schedule) and I've been happy with the quality of the bug-fixes. Even if all players quit and resume more than an hour later on different networks-even cellular data-game picks up and plays as expected.Īfter all of the complaints I've seen posted here, I felt someone should give the developers some well earned praise and some cover. Cross-platform, MP games work as expected (iPad, Windows 7, Mac 10.9). net device exit your navicate password in db_server.Tl:dr Tested today. net device exit wrote:ERRRRRRRRRRROR: cpu frequency too BIG Db agent manager can not connect to the database(Server name : "localhost", user : "root".
